Hulu just dropped the official trailer and key art for Suspicious Minds. The series a sleek new thriller with international ambition, a billionaire family under siege, and a jewel heist that’s three years in the making. The six-episode first season will debut all at once on Thursday, July 10 on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ internationally.
If you’re into tropical noir, long cons, and two thieves who should not be in the same room together, this one’s already setting the right traps.
One Heist, Two Thieves, and Zero Trust
Suspicious Minds follows Amber (Silvia Alonso), one of the sharpest thieves alive, who barely escapes a botched job in Las Vegas. Her next move? A high-profile jewel theft on Isla Esperanza, a remote Pacific island hiding obscene wealth behind wedding florals and private security.
The mark: a $240 million tiara known as the Tiara of Saint Agatha, set to be worn by the daughter of Mexican oil tycoon Emilio Villegas (Asier Etxeandia) at her wedding. The twist: Amber has been living undercover inside the Villegas household for three years as a private school governess.

This isn’t your usual “one last job” setup. Created by writers Verónica Marzá, Pablo Roa, and Fernando Sancristóbal, Suspicious Minds leans into genre drama with unapologetic flair. Think Ocean’s Eleven tension with Killing Eve intimacy and just enough tropical intrigue to keep the danger humid.
The cast is stacked with European talent, including Asier Etxeandia, Antonio Pagudo, Olga Hueso, Albert Baró, Alicia Jaziz, and Cumelén Sanz. Inma Torrente directs with Alejandro Bazzano co-directing, while Álex González pulls double duty as both lead and executive producer.

Synopsis

To prepare the robbery, Amber has been infiltrated in the Villegas family for three years as a school governess. But her meticulous plan goes awry when Rui (Álex González), a cheeky and mysterious thief with whom she had a troubled relationship in Las Vegas during a spectacular heist, shows up on the island.
