Bladers from across North America clashed on August 30 at the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago, all fighting for one thing: a chance to represent their country at the BEYBLADE X World Championship. The stakes were high, the action was fierce, and one Blader rose above the rest. Meet Sebastian M., the newly crowned U.S. Champion, who is now headed to Tokyo, Japan to compete on the global stage.
A Battle Worthy of the Xtreme Name
Bladers ages 8 to 12 brought their best game to the BEYBLADE X National Tournament. They clashed using the BEYBLADE X Xtreme Battle Set, delivering high-speed attacks and narrow escapes. With judges Noah Richards and Brandon Gangaram overseeing the intense matches, every win was earned fair and square.
Sebastian M., who qualified in San Diego, powered through his final match using the BEYBLADE X Cobalt Dragoon. The battle ended in an extreme finish that sealed his spot in the Tokyo finals. “I have been very excited to compete in my first ever tournament,” he said. “I’m so excited that I won and will be able to represent USA on the world stage in Japan.”
All Eyes on Tokyo for the BEYBLADE X World Championship
The BEYBLADE X World Championship will take place at the iconic Tokyo Tower on October 11 and 12, 2025. But first, all eyes are on Monday, September 8.
