Disney Lorcana is leveling up again. Celebrating its two-year anniversary, Ravensburger brought the magic to Gen Con 2025 with major reveals—including the new Fabled set, stunning new puzzles, and the announcement of two upcoming expansions: Whispers in the Well and Winterspell.
Fabled Introduces Iconic Rarity
Set to release September 5, pre-orders open now, Fabled will mark Disney Lorcana’s ninth set since its 2023 debut and introduce a new ultra-rare “Iconic” card type. The first two? Mickey Mouse – Brave Little Prince and Minnie Mouse – Sweetheart Princess. These Iconic cards are rarer than even Enchanted cards, featuring alternate art, a new foil pattern, and foil hot-stamped text and stats.

Also making his card debut is Powerline – World’s Greatest Rock Star, a fan-favorite from A Goofy Movie that had fans cheering during the Gen Con livestream.
New Puzzles Bring Lorcana Art to Life

Ravensburger also unveiled six new Disney Lorcana puzzles, each with 1,000 pieces and themed to one of Lorcana’s magical ink colors. Attendees got their first look at the Amber, Emerald, Ruby, and Sapphire puzzle designs—joining the previously announced Amethyst and Steel versions. All six go on sale September 1 and come with a Mickey Mouse – True Friend promo card.
Whispers in the Well and Winterspell Set the Stage for What’s Next

Following Fabled, the next chapter begins with Whispers in the Well, dropping in select stores November 7 and widely on November 14. The set teases a mysterious storyline and introduces beloved characters like Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps as detective glimmers. Pre-orders are live now.
Winterspell, arriving Q4 2025/Q1 2026, promises chilly adventures and festive vibes. Though little was revealed, fans were treated to a peek at Angel from Lilo & Stitch: The Series joining the fun.
