Nongshim’s flagship Shin Ramyun just leveled up into full K-culture icon status. The Korean food giant is partnering with Netflix and Sony Pictures Animation on a global product launch inspired by KPop Demon Hunters! The hit animated film that has been taking over timelines since June, and now will be taking over our tables.
The Ramyun Is Real

Fans knew something was up the moment KPop Demon Hunters dropped. Eagle-eyed viewers spotted snack bags and noodle cups nearly identical to Nongshim classics. From the red-packaged ramyun using a different Chinese character for “Shin” (神 instead of 辛) to the sly brand name “Dongshim,” the film clearly nodded to the real thing. Now, it is official.
Nongshim is launching limited-edition Shin Ramyun, Shrimp Crackers, and a new Shin Toomba Sauce! All are co-branded with fan-favorite characters Rumi, Mira, Zoey, the Saja Boys, and Derpy the tiger mascot.
A Global K-Food Takeover

Starting in late August, these new snacks will launch in Korea, North America, Europe, Oceania, Southeast Asia, and Mexico. Fans in Korea can also grab an exclusive Shin Ramyun edition styled to match the film’s on-screen noodles, the same ones Rumi, Mira, and Zoey slurp down between fighting demons.
