Lazarus Rising Games is unleashing OverPower in a big way at San Diego Comic-Con 2025. SDCC is supercharging the legendary collectible card game with fresh IPs, stunning art, and fan-focused experiences.
Booth Activations and Giveaways
OverPower will command the spotlight with a packed panel and an interactive booth at Comic-Con International from July 24 to 27. The booth (#2629) will offer game exhibitions, exclusive merchandise, and must-have giveaways including a limited-edition game mat featuring art by Raymond Gay (The Darkness) and a first-look promo card of Invincible’s Mark Grayson illustrated by Philip Tan.
Must-See Panel: OverPower Rising
On Saturday, July 26, fans can head to Ballroom 6DE for the “OverPower Rising” panel. There, they’ll explore the game’s revival and its exciting partnerships with Skybound, Top Cow, and Edgar Rice Burroughs, Inc. Attendees will hear from OverPower co-founders Ronald Pozzi and Joseph Gagnepain, original co-creator Ron Peraza, Top Cow president Matt Hawkins, and top comic artists Philip Tan, Jon Lam, Casey Parsons, and Ito.

Every panel attendee will score a limited-edition OverPower Invincible card featuring Rex Splode with art by Gonzalo Ordonez.
Expanding the Universe with Top Talent
The game’s resurgence isn’t slowing down. After sellout sets and fan-favorite convention appearances this year, Lazarus Rising Games has locked in deals with Skybound, Top Cow, and Edgar Rice Burroughs, expanding the game’s reach and roster of creators.
This wave of momentum continues with major art collaborations from names like Marc Silvestri, Joe Jusko, Jae Lee, Adam Kubert, and Raymond Gay.
