WWE on Netflix Shatters Year-One Records With Global Frenzy and Star-Powered Moments

WWE on Netflix just wrapped its first year and the numbers suplexed expectations. Across 52 episodes of WWE Raw, 12 Premium Live Events, and countless jaw-dropping moments, fans watched 525 million hours of WWE content on Netflix in 2025, turning a streaming debut into a worldwide main event.

Since WWE Raw’s January 6, 2025 debut, the show hit the Global English TV Top 10 for 47 of 52 weeks, averaging more than 3 million views per week. Raw landed Top 10 placement in 34 countries, including the United States for 51 weeks, Bolivia for 49 weeks, Canada for 48 weeks, the United Kingdom for 40 weeks, and Mexico for 38 weeks.

Beyond Raw, Premium Live Events that streamed outside the United States, including SmackDown, WrestleMania, Elimination Chamber, Money in the Bank, Night of Champions, and Royal Rumble, drove 185 million views. Royal Rumble even cracked the Global English TV Top 10 without U.S. availability.

WWE’s first Netflix year brought serious ringside energy. Bert Kreischer, Macaulay Culkin, Richard Gadd, Tiffany Haddish, and many more showed up to cheer and jeer. John Cena bid a heartfelt farewell, The Rock returned to remind everyone that the smell is still cooking, and the streak of surprise cameos fueled that live-event electricity fans crave.

August delivered breakout docuseries heat with WWE: Unreal, which drops fans into the writers’ room and the creative calculus behind the chaos. The series reached the Global Top 10 and charted in eight countries, including Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Bulgaria, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Season 2 arrives January 20, bringing more unfiltered access to Superstars and storylines.

WWE on Netflix turned feeds into highlight reels. Since January 6, 2025, WWE posts on Netflix-owned channels generated more than 5.8 billion impressions across roughly 8,000 posts. A top performer featured FC Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal reacting to a Randy Orton RKO, topping 50 million impressions on Facebook alone.

Nostalgia continued to crush, including a classic John Cena entrance at 32 million impressions, IShowSpeed teaming with Triple H at 13.5 million, and a resurfaced Randy Orton UGC clip at 12 million. As of January 6, 2026, WWE on Netflix totals more than 6.2 million followers across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, with over 4.4 billion impressions delivered across those communities.

Beyond the ring, WWE talent became Netflix red carpet regulars at Next on Netflix 2025, Netflix Tudum 2025: The Live Event, Netflix’s 2025 Upfront, the opening of Netflix Bites in Las Vegas, and the grand openings of Netflix House in Philadelphia and Dallas. They popped by NFL Christmas Gameday Live and the Stranger Things 5 world premiere, which led to a special crossover episode of WWE Raw that aired Monday, January 5, five days after the series finale.

Partnerships, Products, and a Mobile Title for the Roster

WWE’s year one was also a brand showcase. Hundreds of clients ran ads during broadcasts, while more than 20 global brands partnered with Netflix’s WWE Raw, including Snickers, Google, TurboTax, Xfinity, DoorDash, EA, Mattel, and Cash App. Netflix also launched WWE 2K25: Netflix Edition on mobile for members, a signal that the ring travels with you wherever you stream.

Netflix remains the home of WWE Raw every Monday at 5 p.m. PT and 8 p.m. ET. WWE: Unreal returns January 20. The WWE library, including Premium Live Events prior to September 2025, is available to revisit now.
