Crunchyroll The Loop Brings Anime Worlds To Life In LA

This summer, Crunchyroll is giving anime fans a new reason to brave the mall crowds, clear their phone storage, and prepare their wallets. The anime powerhouse is collaborating with Three Ten Merchandising Services, a division of Ceremony of Roses, to launch The Loop, a rotating retail and immersive fan destination in Los Angeles. The new experience will open in mid-June at Westfield Topanga Mall in Canoga Park, California. For its first wave, The Loop will transport fans into the worlds of Solo Leveling, Sentenced to Be a Hero, and Bananya through themed rooms, exclusive merchandise, collectibles, photo opportunities, and interactive activations.

The Loop arrives at a perfect time for anime fans who want more than a standard merch table. The new destination will combine experiential retail with immersive environments inspired by major anime, entertainment, gaming, music, and pop culture brands. Instead of simply walking into a store, fans will step into rotating worlds built around the series they love.

The first three featured anime brands give The Loop a strong opening lineup. Solo Leveling brings action, fantasy, and hunter ranking energy. Sentenced to Be a Hero adds dark fantasy warfare and rebellious punishment lore. Then Bananya balances the lineup with pure chaos, cuteness, and banana-cat joy. That range gives fans three very different tones in one location.

Solo Leveling, Sentenced To Be A Hero, And Bananya Get Immersive Rooms

Visitors can expect three unique immersive rooms during the first wave. The Solo Leveling room invites fans to enter the Hunters Association and test their mana levels. The experience will reveal each visitor’s rank, class, and skills, which sounds tailor-made for social media posts and friendly bragging rights.

The Sentenced to Be a Hero activation throws guests into the war against the demon blight. Fans will fight alongside Penal Hero Unit 9004, the series’ brutal military unit filled with condemned fighters. That concept gives the pop-up a darker, battle-ready energy.

Meanwhile, Bananya turns The Loop into a summer festival. Fans can play games, enjoy a themed environment, and snap photos near an adorable plushie wall. The activation also promises fireworks, which feels perfectly absurd for a tiny cat living inside a banana.

Exclusive Anime Merch Gives Fans Another Reason To Visit

Of course, The Loop will not only give fans something to photograph. It will also give them plenty to buy. The retail shop will feature products from each anime series, including apparel, figures, plush, home goods, and collectibles. Crunchyroll will also offer limited-run branded items at the pop-up.

Even better, those products will be exclusive to The Loop. That detail turns the experience into a destination for collectors, casual fans, and anyone who loves limited anime merchandise. It also makes the first wave feel like an event, not just another store opening.

General admission to the immersive experiences will be free. However, fans should expect a standby line when the space reaches capacity. Crunchyroll subscribers will receive special early access, with more details coming soon. Visitors can also purchase a special limited-edition three-pack of pins for $15. The pin set features each anime series and grants day-of fast pass access.

The first wave of Solo Leveling, Sentenced to Be a Hero, and Bananya activations will run until August. After that, The Loop will refresh with three new anime series, which Crunchyroll will announce later this summer.

Fans can visit DiscoverTheLoop.com for more information and sign up for email alerts. The official opening date will arrive soon, so anime fans in Los Angeles should start planning now.
