Keepsake Trading Cards is taking collectors beyond the yellow brick road at San Diego Comic-Con 2026. The company will debut the first official Ultimate Oz Universe trading cards with a limited product sold only at Booth #135. Each box includes a guaranteed encased card, while select buyers can join an exclusive signing with acclaimed artist Mike Deodato.
Every Box Includes an Encased Signagraph Card
The convention-exclusive boxes will cost $30 each. Every box contains one guaranteed encased Signagraph card featuring a character from the expanding Oz mythology.
Featured characters include Dorothy, the Lion, the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, Glinda, and the Hungry Tiger. The collection also includes H.M. Wogglebug T.E., Jack Pumpkinhead, Mombi, and several other characters.
The complete base set contains 20 cards. Every card is individually numbered to 50 copies or fewer, giving the release some serious scarcity.
Most importantly, this edition will not be sold online or through retail stores. Collectors must visit Keepsake at SDCC to purchase it.
Mike Deodato Signs the First Ultimate Oz Cards
Keepsake will celebrate the launch with an exclusive Mike Deodato signing on Friday, July 24 at 1:00 p.m. The event will take place at Booth #135.
The first 50 collectors who purchase a box each day on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday will be entered into the signing. Selected attendees can receive the first signed Ultimate Oz Universe trading cards ever produced.

That gives collectors another reason to visit the booth early. A low-numbered card is already exciting, but adding Deodato’s signature makes this debut even more special.
The Oz Universe Keeps Expanding
Ultimate Oz Universe continues L. Frank Baum’s original novels while expanding the world beyond its most familiar locations. AWA developed the series with ShaggyMan Productions and Alchemation.
The upcoming second volume, Into the Outerlands, follows Dorothy and Princess Ozma on separate but connected journeys. Ancient threats begin to rise as kingdoms across Oz face new danger.
Their parallel stories move toward a collision that could shape the future of the entire realm. Into the Outerlands releases August 25.
Keepsake plans to follow its SDCC debut with a full breaker release during the fourth quarter of 2026. That later edition will give more collectors access to the Ultimate Oz Universe card collection.
The SDCC-exclusive Keepsake boxes will be available only at Booth #135 during San Diego Comic-Con 2026. Each box costs $30, while supplies last. Mike Deodato’s signing takes place Friday, July 24 at 1:00 p.m.
