The new teaser for PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie is here, and Paramount Animation plus Spin Master are clearly aiming bigger this time. The third big-screen outing throws the pups onto an uncharted tropical island packed with dinosaurs, a dormant volcano, and a reckless Mayor Humdinger who once again turns everything into a crisis. If that was not enough, the rollout also comes with new music from the Backstreet Boys, whose single “Bottle Up” adds even more event energy to a movie already selling itself as the pups’ biggest adventure yet.
A Crash Landing Into Chaos
The setup wastes no time going huge. After a mysterious storm catches their ship, the PAW Patrol crash lands on an island where dinosaurs still roam. There they meet Rex, a pup who has survived on the island for years and now knows everything there is to know about its prehistoric dangers. That alone gives the film a bigger fantasy hook than the usual rescue mission.
Then Humdinger does what Humdinger does best and makes everything worse. His reckless mining operation triggers the eruption of a massive dormant volcano, which means the pups are suddenly facing rescues on a much larger scale. That combination of dinosaurs, disaster, and a ticking-clock survival scenario makes this feel like the franchise’s most cinematic premise so far.
Dino-Sized Spectacle Meets Pop Energy

The teaser also knows exactly how to sell the movie’s scale. Dinosaurs already raise the stakes for younger viewers, but adding a volcanic threat makes the whole thing feel bigger and more urgent. PAW Patrol has always leaned into action, teamwork, and problem-solving, and this story gives the pups a setting where every rescue can feel more extreme than before.

The Backstreet Boys connection adds a fun extra layer to the campaign. Featuring new music from the group gives The Dino Movie a boost of cross-generational appeal, which feels smart for a family franchise that wants to hit both kids and the adults buying the tickets. The single “Bottle Up” should help make the movie feel even more like a summer event. You can pre-save the song now.
PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie is Ready for Bigger Summer Play

The cast is also stacked. PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie features Carter Young, Mckenna Grace, Terry Crews, Meredith MacNeill, Ron Pardo, Jennifer Hudson, Hayden Chemberlen, Fortune Feimster, Jameela Jamil, Rain Janjua, Bill Nye, Paris Hilton, Lucien Duncan-Reid, William Desrosiers, Nylan Parthipan, and Snoop Dogg, while introducing Henry Bolan. That lineup gives the movie plenty of energy around a premise already built for big-screen chaos.
Cal Brunker directs from a script by Brunker and Bob Barlen, with the film based on Keith Chapman’s television series. With dinosaurs, volcanoes, and a full island survival setup, this one looks ready to push the franchise into louder, bigger summer territory.
PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie opens only in theaters on August 14, 2026. Fans can watch the new teaser now and pre-save the Backstreet Boys’ new single “Bottle Up” ahead of the film’s theatrical release.
