IDW Publishing is loading up its brand-new San Diego Comic-Con booth with eight exclusive comic covers, free collectibles, and some of the biggest franchises in comics and pop culture. Fans visiting Booth #2729 will find limited-edition releases featuring Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Godzilla, Sonic the Hedgehog, Hello Kitty, Star Trek, and The Rocketeer, with even more signings and panel announcements still to come.
Eight Exclusive Covers Hit the Show Floor
IDW’s SDCC exclusives cover an impressively broad range of fandoms, beginning with Godtail’s appropriately local variant for Godzilla vs. America: San Diego. The King of the Monsters will also appear on Andrew K. Currey’s variant for The Horror of Godzilla #1.
TMNT fans have two major exclusives to hunt down. Chuck U provides the variant cover for the milestone Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #300, while Attack Peter brings his unmistakable style to TMNT: The Last Ronin, Training Day.
Sonic and Godzilla collide on Natalie Haines’ Sonic the Hedgehog x Godzilla #1 variant, offering fans a collectible tied to one of the wildest crossover concepts around.
The remaining exclusives include Mirka Andolfo’s Hello Kitty and Friends: Hello World! #1, Tristan Jones and Charlie Kirchoff’s Star Trek: Red Shirts, Ghost of the 21st Century #1, and Nathan Szerdy’s The Rocketeer: Infiltrator! #1.
Free Collectibles Add More Reasons to Visit
Fans will also be able to pick up several free items while supplies last. Giveaways include a Star Trek #1 ashcan, an IDW Dark ashcan featuring Any Given Smile #1 and You’ll Never Leave This Place Alive #1, a Hello Kitty poster, an IDW Crime sampler, and an IDW Crime poster.
With comics, posters, samplers, and other surprises available, IDW’s booth should be worth visiting even for attendees who are not planning to buy every exclusive cover. Although let us be honest, that Sonic the Hedgehog x Godzilla variant is going to test some budgets.
Even More IDW SDCC News Is Coming
The publisher is not done revealing its Comic-Con plans. IDW will announce its full creator signing schedule next week, along with details for four panels dedicated to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Star Trek, Godzilla, and the IDW Dark horror imprint.
IDW Publishing will be located at Booth #2729 throughout San Diego Comic-Con 2026. The eight exclusive covers and free collectibles will be available while supplies last, with signing and panel information expected next week.
