Nickelodeon is going big for San Diego Comic-Con 2026 with not one, but two major fan experiences built to spread maximum kid-energy across downtown. This year’s setup includes the FUN-ERGY FACTORY on the convention center floor and Fun Flows Here, a larger outdoor activation at The New Children’s Museum Park. Together, they make Nickelodeon one of the more ambitious SDCC presences on the board this year, blending slime, fandom photo ops, stage shows, giveaways, retail exclusives, and plenty of reasons for fans of all ages to stop and play.
The Convention Floor Gets Its Own Nickelodeon Power Plant

Inside the San Diego Convention Center, Nickelodeon’s 1,800-square-foot FUN-ERGY FACTORY booth sounds like a full-on interactive playground. Fans will work together to generate “fun-ergy” through a series of challenges that build toward a nearly 20-foot-tall Slime Surge, which is exactly the kind of oversized payoff Nickelodeon should be doing at Comic-Con.
The booth also includes Enter the Splat, a fully immersive environment built for surprise photo and video moments, plus a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sewer lair photo op that sounds tailor-made for convention feeds. On top of that, Nickelodeon is bringing retail exclusives and special merch into the mix, including TMNT x G.I. Joe collectible figures, a BossLogic x Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game limited-edition art print, and the Avatar: The Last Airbender Book 3: Fire vinyl soundtrack. Add in talent and character appearances with daily giveaways, and booth #4113 already sounds like one of the busiest kid-and-nostalgia stops on the floor.
Outside the Convention Center, Nickelodeon Goes Even Bigger

New this year, Nick is expanding beyond the convention center with Fun Flows Here, a larger public-facing activation at The New Children’s Museum Park. That part feels especially smart because it opens the fun up beyond badge holders and turns Nickelodeon’s SDCC footprint into something citywide.

The outdoor experience will feature an interactive stage show hosted by Kids Imagine Nation, with performances, games, and entertainment tied to series like PAW Patrol, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Thundermans, and Star Trek: Scouts. There will also be photo installations inspired by SpongeBob SquarePants, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and the Kids’ Choice Awards, along with a signature slime booth where select fans can get drenched in Nickelodeon’s iconic green goo. That alone is going to do numbers.
Slime, Movie Night, and Full Family Energy

Nickelodeon is also stacking the outdoor activation with hands-on play. Fans can expect make-your-own slime, bubble play, kids’ empowerment activities through Nickelodeon Our World, live character drawing demos, DJ sets, raffles, and giveaways. Then on Friday night, the company is adding a family movie night with a screening of The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants, which is a fun way to turn the activation into more than just a daytime stop.
Nickelodeon’s FUN-ERGY FACTORY will be located at booth #4113 inside the San Diego Convention Center during Comic-Con International: San Diego 2026, while Fun Flows Here will take over The New Children’s Museum Park. The outdoor experience is free to the public, and press preview hours are scheduled for July 23 at both locations. Fans can follow @Nickelodeon and #NickSDCC for updates.
