Secret Lair x Stardew Valley

Magic: The Gathering Cultivates Three Stardew Valley Secret Lair Drops

The cozy world of Stardew Valley is planting its roots in Magic: The Gathering. Wizards of the Coast revealed three limited Secret Lair drops today at MagicCon: Amsterdam. Together, they celebrate farming, friendship, Pelican Town, and the dangerous promise of “one more floor” in the mines. All three join the upcoming Superdrop of the Moonlight Jellies on July 27, 2026.

A Fresh Start in Stardew Valley

Secret Lair x Stardew Valley: Welcome to Stardew Valley captures the familiar rhythm of building a new life from the ground up. Its cards explore crops, recipes, relationships, and the occasional wizard-related problem.

The drop features artwork from Stardew Valley creator ConcernedApe. It also introduces Stardew Valley, a new-to-Magic land card inspired by the game’s daily rituals. Other cards include Swords to Plowshares, Rites of Flourishing, Sol Ring, and a Food token.

Several cards receive flavorful new identities. Wedding Ring becomes Mermaid’s Pendant, while Dawn’s Truce becomes Pierre’s Truce. Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis also appear as The Welcoming Committee.

Pelican Town Becomes a Magical Destination

Secret Lair x Stardew Valley: Life in Pelican Town celebrates the locations that turn a small community into a full-day adventure. Players can revisit the Community Center, Pierre’s shop, Clint’s forge, and other familiar destinations through five land-focused cards.

Fountainport becomes Community Center, Homeward Path becomes Pelican Town, and Command Tower transforms into Tower of Rasmodius. Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth appears as Valley Farmstead. Crop Rotation completes the collection and gives the drop an especially fitting farming connection.

The Mines Trade Cozy Comfort for Danger in this Secret Lair

Secret Lair x Stardew Valley: A Flicker in the Deep ventures beneath the valley’s peaceful surface. It embraces the monsters, weapons, and shiny rewards that keep players descending far longer than they planned.

Atsushi, the Blazing Sky becomes Royal Serpent, while Mitotic Slime becomes Big Slime. Sword of Forge and Frontier receives the Galaxy Sword treatment. Arcane Signet and Treasure Vault join the expedition alongside Ooze and Treasure tokens.
