Netflix just gave Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 a fresh jolt of hype with new character posters and a key new addition to the animated crew. Odessa A’zion voices Nikki Baxter, a new character built to pull viewers straight into Hawkins as the winter of 1985 turns strange all over again.
Nikki Baxter Makes the Mystery Feel Personal

Showrunner Eric Robles frames Nikki as the viewer’s way in. He told Tudum, “Nikki is the audience’s eyes,” as she enters the story new to everything the Hawkins kids already know. Robles also teases that once Nikki witnesses what is happening, she cannot simply walk away and pretend it never happened.
The Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 Posters Spotlight a Bigger Voice Cast

The character posters put Nikki front and center, while the series continues to stack an already loaded lineup. Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 features Brooklyn Davey Norstedt as Eleven, Jolie Hoang-Rappaport as Max, Luca Diaz as Mike, Elisha “EJ” Williams as Lucas, Braxton Quinney as Dustin, Ben Plessala as Will, Brett Gipson as Hopper, and Jeremy Jordan as Steve.
Additional voices include Janeane Garofalo and Lou Diamond Phillips.
When You Can Return to Hawkins

The story drops the gang into a snowy 1985 where life finally looks normal again, with D&D, snowball fights, and quiet days. Then something wakes up under the ice. The danger can come from the Upside Down, Hawkins Lab, or somewhere no one expects, and the kids have to solve it fast before the town pays the price.
Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 premieres April 23, 2026, exclusively one Netflix and the new character posters make it clear the series wants to expand the party while keeping the dread close to home.
