Crunchyroll has revealed an all-new trailer and teaser visual for Season 2 of The Beginning After the End, giving fans a fresh look at Arthur Leywin’s next chapter before the series returns on April 1. The new footage pushes the action forward as Arthur continues training as an adventurer alongside Jasmine Flamesworth, while also teasing the looming dangers waiting on the magical continent of Dicathen. On top of that, the trailer offers a first listen to the new opening theme, “Sayonara janai hou ga ii,” performed by SIX LOUNGE, setting the stage for a season that looks bigger, darker, and more dangerous than before.
Arthur’s Next Adventure Looks Far More Dangerous
The new trailer makes clear that Arthur’s latest journey will not be a simple step forward. As he continues taking on quests with Jasmine, the action ramps up with dangerous enemies, vicious creatures, and the arrival of unexpected allies. Season 2 also introduces new characters Brald, Samantha, and Vio, expanding the world just as the stakes begin to rise.
That sense of escalation lines up well with the new season synopsis. Arthur, now sharpening both his swordsmanship and mana as an adventurer, accepts what is supposed to be his final quest before entering the Academy.

That setup has always given the series a strong emotional core, since Arthur carries the wisdom and regrets of a past life while trying to forge a better future.
Season 2 looks ready to lean harder into both the fantasy action and the emotional cost of that journey.
