Doomsday has officially arrived. Marvel Studios released the new trailer and poster for Avengers: Doomsday, offering the clearest look yet at its multiversal collision. The footage brings the Avengers, Fantastic Four, and X-Men together against Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom. Tickets are also on sale now for select Infinity Vision screenings ahead of the film’s December 18, 2026 release.
Doctor Doom Stands Against Three Universes
The trailer finally puts Downey’s Doctor Doom at the center of the action. This is no Tony Stark fake-out. Doom speaks, removes his mask, and immediately establishes himself as a threat capable of bringing multiple universes crashing together.
Chris Hemsworth’s Thor gets one of the trailer’s biggest moments when he confronts Doom with Stormbreaker. Doom stops the weapon, firmly placing himself above the kind of power that previously brought down Thanos. The thunder god’s stunned reaction says everything.
The new poster carries that same sense of Doom standing against something much larger than one world. Victor faces an enormous mural filled with cosmic imagery, giving the image the weight of prophecy rather than another standard superhero showdown.
Avengers, Fantastic Four, and X-Men Collide

Marvel describes the story as a deadly collision between heroes from three distinct universes. The trailer makes that scale visible by bringing together generations of characters who previously occupied separate corners of Marvel history.
The enormous cast includes Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Tom Hiddleston, Paul Rudd, Simu Liu, and Letitia Wright. The New Avengers join through Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell, Hannah John-Kamen, and Lewis Pullman.
Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach represent the Fantastic Four’s reality. Meanwhile, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, James Marsden, Kelsey Grammer, Alan Cumming, and Rebecca Romijn bring the X-Men universe into the collision.
Steve Rogers also makes his presence known during the trailer’s final moments. His return gives Thor a rare look of complete surprise and adds another major mystery to a movie already bending reality.
Infinity Vision Tickets for Avengers: Doomsday Are Now Available

Marvel is initially selling tickets for Infinity Vision certified theaters. Infinity Vision is a new certification for Premium Large Format screens that meet standards for screen size, image brightness, and sound quality. It is not a separate projection format, but a badge identifying theaters equipped to deliver a premium presentation.
Anthony and Joe Russo return to direct after previously leading Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Jonathan Schwartz serve as producers.
Tickets for select Infinity Vision screenings of Avengers: Doomsday are on sale now. The movie opens exclusively in theaters on December 18, 2026.
